- Sit comfortably on a chair.
- Grasp the bottom of the chair to stop your shoulder blade from moving up.
- To stretch the left side of your neck, bring your right earlobe towards your right shoulder and vice versa
- For maximum stretch, keep your eyes facing forward.
- Once you feel a good stretch, reach across with your opposite arm and gently pull to increase the stretch.
- Hold for the required time, then swap sides
Variation:
- Do the same stretch lying on a hard surface.
- This can help very sore muscles relax more.
