- Stand tall and straight
- Relax shoulder blades down
- Cross both arms in front of you
- Grasp elbow of arm to be stretched and pull it slightly across the body
- With your opposite (top arm) gently depress the forearm of the stretching side
- Feel the stretch across the shoulder blade
- Repeat on the other side
