Neck Front Stretch

  • Sit tall on a firm chair with your head balanced comfortably
  • Stabilise your shoulder blades down by placing your hands around the bottom of the chair
  • Tuck chin slightly towards your neck
  • Look upwards towards the ceiling
  • Look upwards and downwards a few times until you loosen up
  • Keep your eyes on the ceiling
  • Slowly turn your head one way, then the other
  • Feel the stretch in various places across the front of your neck
  • Pause in all the places where it feels particularly tight and hold until it begins to feel looser

 

Warm Up: 20 seconds

Main Stretch: 30 to 40 seconds

Repetitions: 2x daily
