Stretching between the Shoulder Blades

  • Start in a kneeling position
  • Place your hands directly under your shoulder blades
  • Align your knees directly under your hips
  • Relax your back and neck
  • Tread one arm underneath your body, palm up
  • Gradually twist your torso and slide that arm further through the gap
  • Keep your hips high and concentrate on gradually drawing your shoulder blades further apart.
  • Feel the stretch between your shoulder blades and through the back of your shoulders
  • Hold
  • Repeat on the other side

Warm Up: 20 seconds

Main Stretch: 30 to 40 seconds

Repetitions: 2x daily
